Recently, paying homage to their creativity, the Japanese automaker Toyota launched a new Facebook racing game. The virtual racing game allows Facebook users to test drive the soon-to-be-released FT-86 right at their home computer.
Further building on their creative promotional efforts, Toyota's racing game, known as Social Network Racer, incorporates content from users' Facebook feed into the design of the racing track to further engage their users. More importantly however, the game gives users a first-hand experience driving the new rear-wheel drive FT-86.
While some may find the customization intriguing others, who play games on Facebook, may wish to escape the endless banter of their friends and may find the game slightly annoying. In either circumstance, Social Network Racer is a prime example of Toyota's creativity and is sure to attract some eyes and active fingertips online.
